Dr. Kim |
 |
Our theme song for this page is dedicated
to our 24 year old two legged daughter, Kimberly Anne Yatteau ( alias Dr.
Quinn, Medicine Woman) who is studying medicine at the University of Tennesse
in Memphis, TN.
Kim is now in her fourth year of medical school. She spent June of her first
year at the University of
Oregon Health Sciences Hospital interning in family practice. (She even helped deliver
her first baby!)
 |
Her first summer she also was selected by her church and has been in Buenos Aires, Argentina for two weeks with a medical missionary group. Kim reports she has had a life awakening experience. She found the people of Argentina to be kind, warm, and loving. She was given love from those who had nothing but that to give and never once complained of what they did not have in life. Kim saw for the first time children playing in the streets amidst the most horrid and unsanitary conditions. She said it was so bad, it made her physically sick. Kim is a most truly compassionate young medical student who has had her eyes opened to the inequalities and tragedies of life and who now returns home wanting more than ever to help those in great need. Welcome home Dr. Kim. (Thanks Grace Acosta for sending Kim off from Miami in style. You are my sister and true friend. Kim found you to be another major influence in her role model composition and that is one heck of a compliment.)
After this trip Kim returned for her third year of medical school. No mother could be given more...

Kim and her Prince, Sir John Quigley, dress for dinner at "Kondor Castle". |
What a great kid that Kim is, However....
Why couldn't she be a vet???? With our dogs...who needs another doctor???
We will never forget that day in the allergist's office years back when
the doctor said, "Kim, you are allergic to dogs". Mom almost fainted.
All our love to you Kim.
Dad, Mom, Kondor, Elke, Chewbacca, Komodo, Sabrina, Joshua,

You Be The Judge
Touch of Class receives many emails daily and wishes to share a couple
of our most recent ones with you:
Email from Nicole Mastrowicz, Melbourne, Austrailia -
I just wanted to write an email telling you how wonderful your site is. I think this site is THE BEST Rottie site on the entire world wide web-CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I'll be back soon to see your beautiful rotties-CHEWBACCA is just a perfect rottie!!
Email from S. Karr
Wow!! Man O' man... I just spent about 2 hours reading every last word of your
Rottie site. I can't express how beautifully your dogs are. It definitely
appears that Chewbacca is throwing "his" awesome heads along to his offspring.
I have had Rotties for going on 6 years now... and read everything I can about this
wonderful breed... but it's always a pleasure to see more positive information.
I have had my fair share of heartache with dogs that were not the potential they
were said to be and have felt great loss from this. But, its reading this site that
makes mepush forward and look for only the best in which I do. Maybe someday
I will have a Rottie of this calibur.. (one really of that calibur, not just
told they were)...
Thank you and best wishes.
Email from Tonia Kearney
My name is Tonia and I just wanted to let you know that your Rottie site is the
best by far!!!! Chewy is a massive yet adorable dog!! I fell in love with Elke
because she reminds me so much of my seven month old Rottie Princess Von
Kearn. They are beautiful animals and may God bless you all for treating them
the way they are to be treated with love and compassion.

Just had to send you a brief email to congratulate you on the beautiful
Rotties you are producing! You seem very dedicated to the breed and that
is needed in this world of throw-away animals.
I bred Rotties for 12 years here in Canada but quit quite a while
ago. Just too difficult to find great homes for the pups.
Great website and beautiful dogs. Thanks for sharing them with me!
All the best, Gloria

My entire family loves your website and we spend hours admiring your
beautiful rotties! That is until the center of attention in this household,
our two year old rottie "Cru" knocks our hand off the mouse so
that we can admire her instead. She's beautiful, too. We're really looking
forward to seeing pictures of the puppies arriving December 1st. What do
I need to do to get on the waiting list for the next litter?

Email from Stephanie Phillippe
Hi, my name is Stephanie Houston. I got your email address from your site on
the internet. I am also a Rottweiler lover. Your dogs are beautiful. I do not
own a Rottweiler, but am hoping to in the future. I would love to now but my
mom babysits and the moms as well as my mom are a bit afraid of Rottweilers. I have no
clue why. I only own a retired Greyhound named Smooth. I have seen many dogs on
the internet but none as cute as yours! A always get in trouble for buying things with Rottweilers
on it like calendars, mugs, stuffed animals, books, bookmarks, etc. I bought
a beanie baby Rottweiler and named him Kondor after one of your dogs. If that is
OK with you. I probably sound really stupic writing to people I don't know
but I really want to talk about Rottweilers with somebody who shares an interest
with me. I love your web page and how you did every page different and new!
I also love the music you put in the background. I have to go now but I enjoyed writing
this letter to you. Thank you. Have a nice day.
Hi, we spoke (emailed!) before and I have sent your website to many
people who enjoy it as much as we do. We love the idea of your fund and
would also like to send our condolences. We love our Lexi and don't like
the idea of "that day" happening to us. We would like to share
an experience with you that almost cost us our dog and in hopes of it not
happening to anyone else.
Lexi loves her rubber ball. She can't sleep without it! About 1 year
ago we had purchased her ball which was fine when she was little but as
she grew we should have bought a bigger ball. Anyway, she got it stuck in
her throat. Her eyes had begun to roll and she was not getting any air.
Michael litterally had to put one hand down her throat and the other massaging
the ball upward. When the ball finally came up she collapsed in his lap.
She started to breath on her own shortly after and to this day, she does
not allow Michael to be too far from her! Thank God we were home.
When I see people in petstores buying those balls I always tell our
story, and to buy a bigger ball. Most listen. Thanks again for your enjoyable
site. It is a treat to see that others love their Rotties as much as we
do.
