On October 31, 1995 the famous Chewbacca/Elke litter was born. One year later, after
all the
Knoxville major shows, owners celebrated their pups' first birthday...cake and all
(Thanks Patrice Lee for that great cake). Dave
and Sandy Singleton are the ones with the biggest smiles - their pup took the bitch
major and Best of
Winners that day......what a first birthday!
Later, on this page you will see the second annual birthday party for the
Elke/Chew kids.
Wow! What a bash!
We could not publish all parties, but suffice to say. "we're still partying!"

Marvin and Teresa Arthur of Greenfield, Indiana own Touch of Class' Covergirl, Kali. Kali is a Chew/Elke pup from their first litter. Susan and Adrian Rooyakkers of Ontario, Canada own Touch of Class' Westminster Abby. Abby is an Elke/ Chew second litter pup. The Arthurs and Rooyakkers have now become friends and have introduced the two sisters.

We are often asked if Rotts swim. Well, here is our family lifeguard, a Touri/Chew daughter and she has already passed her Red Cross lifeguard certification.

Friends Ron and Deb Haldeman and their three Rotts. The Haldemans do not
have a Chew puppy YET but meanwhile Chew keeps them company. (Left

Ron and Debra Haldeman of Elizabethtown, Pa. have been to
Kondor Castle to see our Elke and Chewbacca. They have been friends ever
since. Deborah wanted an Elke/Chew puppy. As the Haldeman's already had
three Rotts, Ron said, " No more until I get my boat".

NEW ORLEANS MARDI GRAS! BABY GUNTHER ARRIVES IN TIME TO PARTY!
Mr. and Mrs. Theron Larroquette of New Orleans, Louisiana open their home and hearts to Gunther, their new buddy from Nebraska.
Gunther's first request was a Mardi Gras Bone!! He got it too!

Touch of Class' Kali. Here Marvin surrounds himself with a bevy of beauties

on his success. Wife, Teresa, (the one with her hands delicately placed
around his neck) joins in knowing in her heart that behind every successful
man is an exhausted woman.

J.D. and Patrice Lee's Casey received her championship. Casey
is a daughter of Spotlight's Dillon v. Ari.
To cut a long story short champagne was served for the big celebration.

After the Knoxville shows and all that partying, the Elke/Chew daughter Leia,
owned by attorney Appie Owens gives us all a warm goodbye till next year. Leia shows
us the superb temperament, loyalty, and devotion these pups have for their owners.
A brain is
necessary for a good Rottweiler to function in its role as true working dog and
Leia has what it takes!
