It's Ugly Photo Contest Time
As all Rottweiler enthusiasts know, that cute little eight week old puppy soon changes
into that leggy teenage "ugly" before maturing into that beautiful Rottie we all
dream of owning. The Daizsha and Chewbacca litter (first litter, born August 23, 1999) owners decided to have some
fun during the "ugly" times. Below are the entries for the "ugliest four to six month
old puppy". At the end you will find the "GRAND WINNER" of the contest.
After each the caption for each puppy you can find the judges comments.

I know... he has this huge body and absolutely no head but there ARE signs of it all to come and we Rottie Chew fans must be patient. Knowing this, he is not the ugliest!"

Dakota is a Chewbacca and CH Camcastle's Beautiful Lacey son owned by Russell
and Lisa McNeil of Elgin, SC. They were patient waiting for Dakota to
mature. Here is Dakota at 11 and 22 months. Again, they do improve with
age.

Anyone who has done this knows what hard work it is. Hats off to Linda Romanowski of Orion, Illinois and her Chewbacca/Lacy girl, Stormy, for adding a CDX to the family titles. Stormy is a beautiful bitch in conformation as well. Stormy's half brother Major, a Chewbacca/Ira boy, is also owned by Linda and her husband Dick.
Major is maturing wondefully and is starting his show career. Great job Linda and Stormy! Stormy is only two years of age.
